My main prob with your flag is prob the color choice too, in general its not that bad just like fen's (you do have somewhat similar ones apart from the lil lil blue dots you have). Apart from that it meets my basic understanding of a flag though that will make it only that, your avg standard flag (already something !). To take it higher up you might want to think of something more unusual in design (or in color), something that shouts out that "IM THE UTA FLAG" for example, the fact its simplistic doesn't mean it cant be flashy.

@ TAU ok nothing to complain about, your avg flag, but then again nothing too flashy or recognizable either, something to think about. Elevating your work from a "mere" flag to something remarkable is much harder ofc and I wont be able to give you much guidance here, toy around with different ideas or use something unique to your faction.

So what do you think of Hexalan's flag then? (This is the official, ornate version. Usually only the 'H' and its surrounding hexagon are used.) (I also used the Simplistic Carthaic font. Because I can. And therefore, if you spent the time, you could read it.)

I guess the complaint about the unneeded complexity around the text is obvious, if you want to include text you can use it to create sort of lines with it (like your avg flag lines just out of text) but main prob is such flag won't really translate to any other possible usage. As for the H insignia the angular sides and the overall feeling of the H being squashed don't add to it, in fact pretty much ruin it. You could toy around with the way you make the H ofc, I have a few ideas in mind that I wont be able to show your right now but from my examination I can tell that making a plain H won't work either, Try to run the H sides parallel to the sides of the Hexagon and make it overall bolder and bigger, if you make the Hexagon less smashed it should end up looking pretty good, I would also recommend a slightly bolder line for the hexagon.

Also iv, my flag looks pixelated because it is. I drew it in pixel art then scaled it up to be smoother; I like the effect myself.

Well, I suppose I should first say for me, straight lines and mice don't go together. The hexagon *should* be perfect, and the H sides *should* be parallel to the point where it stops just short of the top and bottom. I spent all of a minute on it. But, I do like your idea of making the text into lines. I'll go back in and see what I can do, with the hexagon tool in hand.

The text is too much thats not waht I meant at all ... Make the H sides equal in width with the middle part and reach to the hexagon base.

@ Fen looks more like an easy solution for the flag making for me, cmon you can make it better, and the color stuff still applies, here for you mate :

Text is much better but the H still doesn't leave me satisfied, it should end up fine if you fix it as I told you before but if you are still not satisfied you can try other possibilities.
