I'm just thinking about how it would be very easy to fake an Admiral epaulette by combining an Entrant and a Second Lieutenant epaulette

There's less than 37 Admirals, impersonating one would be a tough job.

I see, and the High Admirals would probably meet the Lord of Admirals on a regular basis?

Admiral of Staff and General are indistinguishable from each other. Fix pl0x.

The colors are really close. Up to colonel is dark grey.

I can see the difference but the colors are pretty close, so they could be mistaken at first glance.

You could be mistaken for a Novan at first glance.

Not to be an Iv here, but speaking from experience your rank structure is a bit...big. It looks more like an FPS progression system than something conducive to a chain of command lol

But to each their own. I know mine are way too condensed. You might wanna find a system better than appending a number to differentiate the NCO ranks tho

Yeah, I originally planned to have more unit sizes than I ended up using.

also looking at your spreadsheet, either you're doing your own thing with enlisted or just confused. Just in case it's the latter, in contemporary militaries senior NCOs act as advisors to commissioned officers of comparable rank.

So IE in murica's Army, an E6(Staff Sergeant) would generally lead a platoon while an attached O1 or O2(Lieutenant) would handle administrative work. As you get up, more duties are handled by the CO; for example, the E8(First Sergeant) of a company would be responsible for representing the interests of the enlisted and helping out the commissioned officer, typically an O3 Captain, carry out their work. Generally speaking they're relays for orders, and are in units where their experience is most applicable.

In conclusion, I'm not sure if Corps members are just all commissioned and are the COs for the Legion's larger formations when needed (that sounds pretty interesting), but I feel that your senior enlisted would be able to command units larger than a squad; if not as the primary leader, at least as a subordinate NCO. If that was your intent it'd be great if you could clarify somewhere.

All in all this is pretty grand though. It took you some tries but your faction is genuinely interesting and unique in its own way.
