If you can give me a .craft and point me at a railgun mod (or is it just stock?), I'll throw you in. Assuming you'll start over the Mun.

Also, be aware the heatsink stealth system will only work until you're within 5km; full-blown stealth drives can get as close as 1km. Weapon ranges for standard armaments vary between 2.4km (torps) and 500m (MGT).

I'm gonna have to modify it in that case then; i was under the impression that this was a rp-ish thingy. Lemme get it to an actual working model; entire design reworking GO!

Ah.

Well, I'm gonna tey to give the other guys' ships vaguely beat-up-but-functioning look (save the pristine stealth-*), as befit pirates.

Yarr.

Also, where do you guys want to go first, and with what ships? (Remember you need to defend the dreadnought some, and if nobody hath claimed a ship you want, I'll NPC it).

I was thinking about heading over to Eve, maybe bring the Valk and/or the Xenonaut, and intercept some non-warp craft.

The Valk can cripple a ship, then the bigger ships move in.

The Valkyrie is meant as an interceptor; so yes, run in, hit the engines, run out would work. Most merchants are armed, though *very* lightly. And their gunners aren't the best.

Name: Commander Hawkes
Captain of: Spectre
Personality: Keeps to himself, mostly. It is in the middle of his 30´s and is very experienced.
Role within the fleet: Recon,Stealth strikes and keep up a small distilery within the ship for usual booze

I in favor of going with the interceptor to help with boarding. Stealth operations in a small wolfpack to disrupt some freighters without getting too much attention.

Well... If nobody is taking the dreadnought...

Name: Commander Kobialka (what else?)
Captain of: Dreadnought
Personality: Grumpy, doesn't get along with most people. Takes his anger out on enemy ships though. He likes seeing a ship get ripped in half by his firepower.
Role within the fleet: scaring off small fleets, beating up large ones. Only used on special occasions because the weapons are expensive to fire.

The Executor is a fearsome vessel, personally designed and piloted by Fenway. Classified as a heavy fighter, it packs a punch.

2x Kinetic Railguns (Shoots ammunition at things; has light and heavy ammo)

Space for either 8x Heavy Ammo, 16x Light Ammo, or a combination of the two (There are four clips)

2x Missile/Torpedo mounts (Nothing on them... yet)

Heatsink Stealth System (prevents detection up to 5 km. I decided that it is too OP and the guns need to stay)

2x main engines, 2x secondary engines (Secondary is used with heatsinks to prevent detection, combined acceleration; ~12 m/s/s)

2x Rearming Drones (These are used to insert new clips into the Executor, for Railgun use)

Front armor panels, rest is relatively unarmored

RAILGUN OPERATION GUIDE

-For Authorized Personnel Only-
Spoiler:
Step one: Get within visual range. The closer to target, the more likely you are to hit it. Basically, it depends on your aiming skill

Step two; reduce momentum relative to target to 0, or as much as you can.

Step three; Line up the target, then deactivate all engines (I set this key to 3). Throttle up to maximum.

Step four: Undock desired ammunition from clip. Wait until shot is directly in front of Railgun engine, then activate Railgun engine for a fraction of a second (I set 1 to the left Railgun, 2 to the right Railgun). Make sure to deactivate the engine immediately after firing!

Step 5: Enemy explodes if you did it right.

With those guns? No, you don't get 1-klick stealth. It turns your ship into GodMode.

Nerf the guns or stealth, or keep both and suffer horribly OP enemies.

I nerfed both. Only 5 km stealth using heatsink and only mounts railgun and missiles.

So how are you going to do this? Both at the same time or a sort of turn-thing?
