July 20, 2022 - Operation "Throne Aegis"

-Mission: Defend AESIR HQ against alien assault.

-Participants: Ivan Kintobor, Julo Artolli, Markus Korriman, Alex Solar (NPC), Fenway Ash (NPC), Tau Xi (NPC).

-Mission Success.

-6 Cybernetic wrecks recovered
-4 Sectoid corpses recovered
-1 Reptilian corpse recovered

-6 Rapid-Cycle Plasma Carbines recovered
-4 Plasma bolt pistols recovered
-1 Plasma botl carbine recovered

As requested by the commander, here is a report of the two previously unknown types of aliens encountered when they attacked the base.

The first type is what we dubbed the "Cybernetics". A major part of their body is composed of machinery instead of organic tissue. They are very hard to kill, being able to take two shots from our standard assault rifles without going down, and have what seems to be a short-range stun weapon mounted on one of their arms. I advise to hold some distance when fighting against them, and concentrate the fire of several soldiers on any of them that attempt to charge towards our troops. While this "stun-weapon" has not been seen in use yet, we believe it would be capable of instantly incapacitating a soldier.

The second encountered race of aliens are the reptilians.
They are weaker than the Cybernetics and possess no extraordinary abilities, but still seem to be less fragile then the average Sectoid, being capable of taking about as much demage as humans.

-Solar, Des, Dayn, and Mark attacked an alien vessel landed at AESIR HQ.
-Killed the crew, including an avian - resembling a large owl - with psionic ("psychic") abilities.
