Uhm, I think we have some grammatic interpretation issues there.
the "not" was supposed to apply to the entire rest of the sentence, as in the second part would be relative to "not be specialized in psionics".
In other words, I was trying to say "my faction is specialized in psionics, but that doesn't mean we are the only ones having them", but used confusing grammar.

Exactly.
Basically, my faction had been doing psionic stuff way before they invented FTL and AFAIK most other factions, scientific explanation of "paranormal" phenomenons had not been a major thing, which basically leads to my faction having a head-start in their development.

In hidsight, I may also have been kinda rude in my last big post to catsonmeth.
Sorry for that, I guess I was just annoyed and propably tired at the time and didn't really act maturely, I propably could have left out the part where I implied catsonmeth was on a hunt to shoot down my stuff simply because it doesn't fit his personal ideas.
It would propably come across like that if he keeps up whining about things, but I may have made a mistake when I implied he had already done so previously.
