I've been meaning to give the Feles race a new name and face for a while so they're not so obviously feline. Batii is the name for any citizen of the Batiss Combine, so I'll be using that until I can reassign a race name. So far, I have one attempt at a visual redesign, but several people have told me that it's slightly horrifying.

I wouldn't say horrifying. More just alien, which I assume is the idea here.

Not sure about the ears - cats' ears tend not to extend as far down the head as those, but again, alien. Looks good, mate.

IMO it would be better if it didn't have a human mouth/nose. It looks weird because it's a totally normal lower face with a totally alien upper face. If the mouth was either more carnivore or something like a turian's it might look better.

Give it Halo Sangheili mouth.

Looks like a ugly gremlin.

Perhaps just the lower two mandibles, not all four? The structure of the whole head is wrong for that to work exactly the way it does for a Sangheili, but two (or maybe three) replacing the lower jaw might look OK.
