"Am I late?" Nerohm asks. "I was on a business trip for the past two years. What did I miss?"

The hum of the engines filled the small cabin of the shuttle as it sped towards the ship.
"So, what's he like?"
"A complete and total asshole, Exion. But, Solari's about as hard to avoid as a bullet. So let me do any talking, alright?"
"Yes sir..."

Docking clamp latched, the door opened and the two entered Zuguth's ship. Both immediately surveyed the area.

Orion met up with everyone in the lounge, and started conversing, waiting for something to happen.

Noting Hexalan - an a companion- appearing, Val stepped behind a nearby table, eyeing the rest of the guests warily.

Zuguth adjusted his suit, and entered the lounge. He cleared his throat to get everyone's attention.
"First of all, I wish you welcome to the luxury cruiser S.S. Helena. It's great to see you all, and that you're all in good shape. The cruise will start tomorrow and will take us between several well-known holiday planets, including..."
And so he continued his welcoming speech.

"How warm are these places? And, could you turn the heat up a bit, it's cold in here."

Val chuckled quietly. Taking a flying leap, she landed on his back, blowing in his ear.

"Nice to see you again."

[Solar112]

"You too" Solari said now sounding much happier. "Oh. and. I have something for you" He said, tugging on his chest plate to pull it off. Upon removing it, in a small crevice there was a brilliant purple stemmed, blue petaled flower. Handing it to val, he smiled, somewhat awkwardly.

Val paused, staring at Solari. Unfreezing, she smiled.

"Thanks. It's quite nice. If I may ask... what prompted this...?"

[Professor Fenway]

A NeoRoman cruiser jumped, a smaller ship disengaged, and then the cruiser jumped out. The smaller ship approached the Heleni and docked to the side for a few minutes before disengaging and jumping out.

NeRohm entered the ship, took a look around, and then produced a small datapad from his robe. He checked it, stowed it away, and then began walking briskly towards the lounge.

"Oh... Uh... Nothing really" Solari said quieting with each word.

[Vinyl]

The dynamic duo approached Zuguth, who was just finishing up his speech.
"Zuguth, I'd like to introduce to you Sublieutenant Commander Exion."
Exion glanced at Hexalan, internally smirking. Hexalan shot back an invisible glare.

[Error]

"You sound... uncertain." Val commented, placing the flower in her belt.

Hugging Solari, she dropped to the floor. Glancing around, she spotted Zuguth and the two Hexalani.

"'Scuse me. I should probably go save our host."

With that, she headed off towards the trio, an amused look on her face.

Footsteps, approaching. Exion reached for her pistol, but Hexalan's hand shot out and grabbed her arm.
"My apologies, Val. The Commander hasn't been out of the Expanses for quite the time." Hexalan released Exion's arm saying this, and turned to the Commonwealth.

[Error]

Val raised an eyebrow.

"If she's not left the Expanses, why the need for hair-trigger reflexes among friends? And good to see you, too, Hexalan."

Eyeing them both, she nodded a greeting to Exion. "Nice to meet you. Don't start painting walls, please."
