The new BARDICHE torpedo and the CLAYMORE warhed are almost ready for full production.

The BARDICHE ,the sucessor of the JAVELIN,is a upgrade for the main torpedo of the corporation. The BARDICHE is mostly good because of the better "phasing" capabilities of the warhead,with increased range and power. [Basically,increased size of the payload for more dakka,better software and everything. JAVELIN 2.0 ] . The new Bardiche will not completely phase-out the JAVELIN,both have the same construction and almost the same price. The bardiche will be used in specific ocassions

The CLAYMORE is the result of the experimental study on phasing systems. While its not ready for full production,the new torpedo seems to be powerful addition to more specific missions. It can use his micro-fold core to do a "micro-jump",effectively phasing out shields or gravity barriers and do the damage directly.

A small wargame is being held at Beta Caeli system. Its being held to test the new Quaestor interceptor and the new torpedoes. The game is closed between Darkstar flootilas,as itself is just a test for the new officers formed at the academy.

Resources on the Draco-Colonial effort are going to the reinforcement of planetary / orbital / deep space defenses . Yellow alert is still held ,and ship production is aiming at the building of Squire-class frigates,as they are cheap and easy to operate by the colonists.

The DarkCom [Darkstar Command] is the central command over the navy. Almost all fleets report to this division [except special cases]

The Institute is the central research division. Commands all kinds of research [Military and civilian]

The Wolfguard [The division that commands the S.O.F [Special Operations Fleet] and the SpecOps in general. ]

And the Border Defense INitiative,a "military police" division that takes care of the day-to-day security.

Overall,each one operates "far" from each other,like separate nodes to ensure safety of information. Over all the divisions,stands the Grey Council,where the C.E.O and the leaders take decisiions. Depending on the situation,the vote of each one can be of more value. Example; The Wolfguard will not have voice in a scientific matter,making the Institute opinion weight heavily.

After the recent event of a large number of UFOs entering Tajer space and proceeding to disappear a number of more populated newly colonized worlds are being fortified with new defense platforms and planetary defenses. Also a number of sensor networks are being setup around planets to detect any cloaked unknowns for early warning.
OOC: Just for a random description these sensor nets are like minefields, But instead of metal spheres filled with high explosives there filled with high power sensors that all transmit to a central system and provide a useful early warning "fence" or whatnot.

Standing amongst the room sat what could only be described as a Frankenstein of what was once Tajerian, Standing at 12 feet tall was a towering result of cobbled together parts grown in test tubes, A massive heavily muscled Tajerian covered in methodical scars showing where the various pieces were stitched together. A scientist gesturing to some detailed anatomy charts ignoring the lesser stomached visitors who showed their displeasure by dirtying the clean floors spoke up "As you can see here prototype ELITE is a mixture of various animal parts that hold value in warfare situations, Three hearts placed at different points in its biology allow it to continue fighting even at the loss of two and to fuel its large muscle banks, The lungs are a modified version of a creature that lives in a swamp filled with noxious gas, The goo covered webbing inside the lungs absorbing and neutralizing a number of toxins and small doses of breathed chemical weapons, The skin is a tougher hide-like strain with almost scale like qualities this skin holds a greater resistance to tearing and cutting and burns, bruises, and toxins absorbed through the skin. To help power all this muscle the digestive system has double the stomachs of a normal Tajerian with four stomachs allowing it to digest a large variety of items, The colon is that of a desert living animal which loops around allowing indefinite digestion of a meal and maximum nutritional gain. A high nutrition bar will be used to feed them due to their large dietary demands. And now we get to the brain definitely the most valuable part of the prototype being a modified version of our biogenetic AI it will allow us to annually 'back up' the brain processes and at the loss of the body the processes could be placed in a newly grown body which would let us retain the experience of that unit and teach it how to do better next time. We have plans for many different variations including a commander version and a psionic variation this of course being only a model was patched together quickly, The finished version will be simply be clone grown and much more efficient to mass produce. Any questions?" finished the scientist as he looked at the crowd some of them looked pale probably from some pointless moral standards about life or whatnot.

Military: 3 Flootilas of the Border Defense Initiative are being sent in different directions in a exploratory mission to scout bordering systems and deploy a set of comm and observation beacons.

By deploying a multistatic grid of 100 radar-emitting micro-satellites, the Sword quickly delivers a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) at 15 meters per pixel (mpp) resolution, vastly outclassing common scanner peak performance of 27 mpp. Such imaging quality provides superior defense intelligence, and at a speed warranted by the dangers of combat.
At slower scanning and rendering speed, the Sword can resolve down to an astonishing 0.001 millimeter per pixel—ideal for geological and biological prospecting, archaeological research, and long-term security surveillance. By employing such a massive multistatic grid of nearly-untraceable micro-emitters, is virtually invulnerable to electronic countermeasures. The spherical geometry of the system grid also allows superior cross-sectioning of targets to allied ships connected to the network.

Resources are being poured to help the Tajer build the sensor-net.

Thank you for tuning in to Station 21, we've been off the air for some time but now we're back online.
Now, as you might know, the high and mighty folks in the government have started colonizing the Wolf-Lundmark-Melotte galaxy, with 3 or 4 systems already fully operative, with residential areas and farms and shipyards and fucking holiday resorts and what not.
"Yeah yeah, they're trying to be more relevant and gather more clay, why do you care, and why should we? This place secretly some huge-ass testing area or something?"
Well, faithful listeners, actually I'm going to do something I didn't think I was going to do anytime soon: support the government. You see, the problem with these places is that they are almost totally empty. With all the recent colonization rushes, there simply aren't enough people to fill it all up, so many have given up bothering. But I'm here to tell you that you should bother. See, these places need people, right? Otherwise they're just factories and shipyards, and what fun is that? So because the govs want people out there so badly, you can literally get a flight to one of these places and settle down in a real big and spacious place, anything from a lil apartment to a huge fucking mansion, for less than going vacationing on the floating isles.

Don't tell me you haven't been dreaming of this. If you go now and get a good and big house, get a high position in some ship production company or a food supplier or whatever, a hundred years or so from now your family might be one of the big tops in a new, much larger and more powerful Zuguthian Empire.
So go, tell your friends, your neighbors, your local illegal immigrants, tell them that a new future awaits in the WLM galaxy. But don't go dragging your entire neighborhood with you, cause we don't want Zuguth to turn into an empty shell, do we?
