Darkstar Shipyards Ship Classifications
You're forgetting a Deus/Titan class, as well as a Super Dreadnought in between Deus/Titan, and Dreadnought.

No one has ever made a Titan, and we should really ditch that term seeing as it's SOASE now. Stuff like that would go under superweapon or experimental.
Super dreadnaught would just be a dreadnaught with the super prefix on it; the opposite of the 'pocket' modifier that I can see applied to many of Error's stuff.

As I see it, classifications:
"Super" - Amp the ship up a bunch, double the cost, voila.
"Siege" - You can hit stationary targets, with Really Big Guns. Moving targets? Not so much.
"Defense" - You have enough flak to block out the sun, but the ship-to-ship power of a handful of grass clippings.
"Assault" - Enough shielding and armor to wade into an enemy fleet with ease, and unleash a fair bit of damage. But you are SLOOOOOOW.
"Planetary Assault" - Lots and lots of drop troops, vehicles, and such. SFA for space combat.
"Titan" - It's a space station. With a few engines. Moves slightly quicker than a glacier, on a good day.
"Pocket" - It has the power of something well above its size. Buying a planet might be cheaper, though.

Are superships even still canon?

Re: Darkstar Shipyards Ship Classifications
No one knows whether superships are canon anymore.
Fenway thinks they could at least be a possibility tho.
