@ Vinyl: Isn't your faction mostly human? It would make sense for most human languages to be derived from modern languages, and a few hundred years isn't really long enough to develop one, especially with computers.

@cats AFAIK most of the human nations use English-derived languages as their man thing, with maybe others on the side.
