After a period of galactic withdrawal, the NeoRoman Hierarchy has announced that the Third Battle Fleet, recently re-constructed in the aftermath of the Imperium War, is being deployed immediately to an unknown sector on an as-of-yet undisclosed mission. The Hierarchy has released, however, the specifications of three experimental long-range sensor ships residing in the fleet, though the details are sketchy. Critics are arguing that the Hierarchy is attempting to probe a response from the Strigiforme, as the fleet jumped out of NeoRome on a vector headed towards their space, but it is impossible to know for certain.

The Hexalan fleet retrofit has been finished and the fleet is now returned to their control. Critics have argued that giving away so much technology can severely detriment NeoRome's technological advantage, but the Hierarchy has assured that the large scale tech cannot be reverse-engineered or even analyzed.

Full-scale mining operations have begun on the former planet Cybran, shattered during the Imperium war. While the loss of life was extremely tragic, the breakup of the planet has unveiled countless valuable minerals and metals. These are being exploited to help rebuild NeoRome and the surrounding planets.

For the first time in NeoRoman history, HALO, the AI designed to select each Hierarch, has named the new Hierarch almost immediately. And as an added bonus, this is the first time a non-terran has been selected. The candidate is Krtiil, an ex-Strigiforme owl who defected 23 standard years ago and was granted asylum by NeoRome on the border world Hemrow. Acceptance of the position of Hierarch is mandatory, regardless of objections, and the high council agrees with HALO's decision. Krtiil has already been notified and is en-route to NeoRome; it will be interesting to watch the reactions of other nations, especially the Strigiforme.

I decide to get a good night's sleep for once and when I return people are planning to destroy my whole planet just because of some mysterious power surges. It's like you already know the Strigiforme were behind.

Ground teams have found cultists using what would appear to be Strigiforme weaponry. A message has been sent to the Strigiforme asking how the cultists have come across these weapons.
The Solari annihilation frigate has been politely declined, but the MAC cruisers offered by the Hexalan has been accepted, and asked to stand by at strategic locations once they reach the planet.
The units offered by the Orion Confederate have also been gladly accepted.
Zuguthian fleets that aren't occupied elsewhere have been asked to move in to help the reclaiming of Menya. Field android replicators, combining nanobots and 3D printing technology, are to be deployed to ensure that the number of robotic foot troops remain at a high level. Zuguthian military strategists have faith that the untrained cultists, even though they are equipped with Strigiforme weaponry, will be little match against the ground troops and atmospheric fighters from multiple nations.
