It will be remembered as *-waving, yes. It's really just a matter of a military institution temporarily getting the upper hand over the usually-dominant civil one. How? Taln law actually provisions for it, as I mention in my faction thread. In times of war you don't want to have politicians running around telling soldiers what to do. Good in theory, and one of the reasons our armed forces are as effective as they are when shit hits the fan, but sometimes leads to rather bad situations like this.

Though, I see words. Where are the ships?

Also psst a Strigiforme ship recently made it past border security. Just letting you know.

(Humans and their damned bottled water. Gets them every time)

Okay fine.

Shipyards: Estimated total: 3e40
Electronics Assemblers estimated total: 3e50

Starting number of shipyards: 3
Electronics assembly: 5

Electronics assembly stats:
Electronic components estimated per assembler per hour: 3 frigates worth

Shipyards stats:
frigates per shipyard per day: 5

Electronic assembly station designation EAS.00: 22%
EAS.01: 0% (On hold until EAS.00 is done)
EAS.02: 0% (On hold until EAS.00 is done)
EAS.03: 0% (On hold until EAS.00 is done)
EAS.04: 0% (On hold until EAS.00 is done)

Shipyard Designation SY.00: 0% (on hold until EAS.00 is done)
SY.01: 0% (on hold until EAS.00 is done)
SY.02: 0% (on hold until EAS.00 is done)

Flattening: 1.5%

Materials collected: an additional 102,000 cubic kilometers of iron, 200,000 cubic kilometers of various minerals. 250,000 cubic kilometers of other metals(About 40% titanium)

the standard 15% is being shipped to Zuguth.

Those numbers are insanely excessive. What are you smoking that would make you think that is reasonable or sane?

Which numbers? the end goals for my shipyards and electronics assembly stations? Well long story short Jade plans to go around to every uninhabited system and completely remove the planets, and take the useful materials elsewhere while dumping the not so useful materials into the local star.

I've done a few ship pictures in my infodump thread, I've yet to model them in Blender.

Should find ship weapons, shields, and the like there, too.

So what exactly is the TNC doing now they have a battlegroup glaring at them from 4 LY away?

Oh, are those construction goals? I thought you were saying you had 3e40 constructors and ect.

I'd say the same, but to be fair these are AI ships. Empirical sci fi dictates the going rate is about 5:1 when engaging organic equivalents; making these figures much more feasible.

Though cubic kilometers of pure material is a biiit much :p

I just saw that. For reference; THIS is a cubic kilometer;

Dreadnoughts are usually one KM long, as another reference.

250,000 cubic KM would be ripping out an area roughly the size of COLORADO (in the US). Do you realize HOW MUCH ENERGY THAT WOULD REQUIRE?!

TOO MUCH FOR YOUR PUNY INFRA-STRUCTURE-LESS NATION TO ACCOMPLISH

WHY DO YOU THINK MOST NATIONS MINE MOONS OR ASTEROID BELTS?

God fucking * fine I'll hold flattening off but that's the last compromise. I'm eating asteroids and dumping spare materials into a star. give me some time to figure out the average size of a fucking asteroid.

The Strigiforme have begun projects to make the harvesting of space dusts feasible. This would decrease mining times, as magnets other harvesting methods would avoid undesirable materials entirely.

>last compromise
As if the GMs don't control everything of that sort of nature.

It is. But given efficiency and such, plus expendability, don't AIs traditionally do an automated zerg rush?

But yeah, you might have a few cubic klicks. Might.

Look at my numbers for reasonability (based on real life) - 2 years for something roughly battleship size, 8-9 months for frigates or destroyers, a few years, 3 or 4, for a shipyard, stuff like that. Frankly, almost everyone (save Fen, cats when he's here, myself, and maybe Tiel) are ridiculously fast for construction (thoug given ACH's "throw owls at the problem until it goes away" strategy, that may be justified).

The Strigiforme rely on a large industrial base and high population to do things. Their other economic bases, like banking, are fairly stunted.

Not necessarily models, just nice to have something visual to go by. That should do it.

So we'll say every asteroid is a 1km radius sphere, and it'll take me 4 ingame days to eat it.

We'll also say that an asteroid is comprised of 75% useless material.

The rest for easiness sake is evenly divided into the remaining percent.

Fair enough?
