Theta felt the drone slam into him, the thing had come to repair him, how ironic.

Gulan had been narrowly missed, as the drone rolled across the corridor, shouting mechanical garble.

"You ok?" Gulan asked

"Legs knackered, but nothing else, how the hell are you still in one peice?"

"I chose a good place to stand"

"How did I get to the assault room"

"I dragged you here"

"Figures"

Theta tried to stand up, but the ship jolted, and knocked him back down.
Something is said over the intercom, something about a crash landing.
One of the holding systems on one of the mechs fails, and the machine crashes to the floor, landing roughly ten meters away from Theta and Gulan.

"We should probably move"

Glitch barked a string of invective and began firing the ship's manuvering thrusters, slowing them for impact and aiming for the beach.

He switched on global PA. "All hands, vessel is conducting emergency entry and landing. Brace for impact."
He switched comms off and concentrated on manuvering (essentiall) a rick through the atmosphere.

Ash opened his eyes and stood up. He wan't bleeding, but his head hurt horribly. He suddenly remembered the ship's reentry, and was about to go back to the helm when he saw Glitch. He froze, nearly lost his balance as the ship jolted, and then heard him say, "All hands, vessel is conducting emergency entry and landing. Brace for impact." I'll see you in the afterlife. If there is one. Probably not. He glanced out the view-screen, which was showing a rapidly-increasing island, and then braced himself in the bridge.

He didn't remember when they landed.

"All hands brace fo--" Glitch's electronic voice sounded over the shipcom, cut short as the ship collided with denser atmosphere and Gulan fell to the deck. He attempted to climb to his feet when

he woke up.

Theta anticipated the landing, only just stopping himself from being knocked out again.

He tried to use the intercom, to no avail.

He tried to send a messag to the comm units of the rest of the crew, while it was possible, there was heavy interference

"All ...... Rem.... Pleas....... As.s.....ba....re...oup..."

The only thing that he could contact without interference was Gltch, he couldn't even use the emergency communicator to allow him to talk to the NSCD.

"Glitch, I can report that myself and Gulan appear to be alive, and that the assault bay is intact, but I can't move, and I don't know if Gulan can, also our comms are almost completely jammed, you are the only one who can contact everyone at the moment"

"Understood, Theta. can you make self-repairs? I am a tad busy at the moment."

[Prototype]

"Repair might take a while, however I need tools, but I can probably crawl to get them, which means I may as well make myself useful, are there any things that need to be done on deck 3?"

Glitch made a quick check.
"RCS thructer pod 6 needs repairs, and one of the fuel lines is redlining. can you?"

Niix looked at what he'd been able to salvage; a PCU (Portable Communication Unit), five bottles of...something, twelve tins of dried fruit, two spoons and a knife.
He fiddled with PCU a little and managed to send a message to Glitch.
"I'm alive, I think. Where should I go? Bridge? Outside? Stay here and keep the place from burning down?"

Theta began crawling to the nearest engineering locker, in the hope of finding something to repair himself with, failing that something to repair the failing thruster pod

Ash turned his head as his personal comm received a message from Feluc. Once it was over, he began to snarl and turned on his, connected to Feluc. "Shut up you idiot. Would you like me to reprogram you with a large ax?"

"Theta to Feluc, I'm near one of your data banks, I can fix your speech for you if you want, if you don't I'll do it anyway"

OOC: I guess I should say that => and ==> are thoughts and > and >> is speech, and ART talks like Feluc because Feluc has put in place a speech filter that is also integrated into his ability to state numerical values. Also, > and => is ART, who is like an Aperture Science morality core but is smarter, as well >> and ==> is Feluc who had ART installed because he tried to murder everyone on the last ship he served on. ART prevents Feluc from doing anything that presents an immediate danger to the crew and will take over Feluc sometimes in order to provide warnings and such. Feluc really really really hates him.

BIC: Glitch made final adjustments to the course of the ship, then activated his last option and fired braking rockets. Everything slammed into the forward bulkheads as the ship's velocity bled away.
