Foreign Policy (How you deal with other nations): All nations that aren't known are treated with courtesy, but are generally avoided until more talking with the nation has taken place. Also slightly xenophobic. Emigration and immigration are regulated, but not highly so. (Not nearly on the level as the USSR)

Alright, I am almost ready to start. Just a few minor tweaks and we're good.

NeoRome has acknowledged the SDI Alliance and has decided to join it. (Note, this is preliminary alliance thing). If any others wish to join it, let me know.

If nobody has any other issues or grievances or other things needing done, we will begin.

So it begins.

Hierarch Fenway sighed as he read the report from the Alpha Cyngi Research Lab. Another failure. This time they had accidentally activated the device's self destruct code. And in doing so, they lost incredibly valuable data. Fenway knew the data on Hope's chip would be extractable, but they may not serve their function again.

If he was correct, this was the tenth catastrophic failure in a row. The last, the nastiest, had been a momentum experiment. The Yttrium sphere they had used escaped gravitational confinement and, able to double momentum with each bounce, tore through the station, severing even the plasma fields meant to contain it. It had then escaped to space. Anomaly Task Force 13 is still tracking the sphere down, deep into uncharted territory. It might not ever be recovered. As of now, it had smashed through three planets and a star.

And ten failures warranted a suspension and official review of the lab. Given the high-security of the lab, that would mean memories erased or even people erased from official existence. Fenway hated that, but what must be done, must be done. He submitted this report to the Inquisition Team and moved his mind to other matters. He cleared the files he had open on his holo-desk and opened up another series, labeled 'Collection Project'. He reviewed it.

The last report, submitted mere minutes ago, was not great. No clues revealed. Fenway frowned. He would need to devote more personnel to get anywhere, and resources were already tight. He filed this for later review and then opened a diplomatic map.

NeoRome, under the guidance of Fenway, had decided to join the newly-resolved Strategic Defense Initiative, or SDI. Given very tight diplomatic relations after the attack of the Virus, everything was strained. Fenway hoped a better relation with the Strigiforme could be obtained. But that would take time. And time is what they didn't have. He closed the map.

He then went back to the subject of the research lab failure. Another report arrived. Fenway expected bad news, but was surprised by the contents. Data.

  Initial tests and scans with the device revealed nothing. Apart from it's usual function, nothing unusual could be detected. Additional scans, however, revealed that at a frequency of [CLASSIFIED] MHz in the [CLASSIFIED] spectrum, a locking mechanism responded. We were able to disable this mechanism.
  
  Once disabled, numerous unknown devices presented themselves in the device. It is theorized that they were in a state of [CLASSIFIED], and therefore undetectable to our sensors. Results were inconclusive on these devices. Readings on them pointed everywhere. One thing was certain, though. They did not contribute to the supposed function of the device. [CLASSIFIED] has suggested that [CLASSIFIED]. We no longer have the ability to test this hypothesis.
  
  We achieved a breakthrough shortly before it self destructed. [CLASSIFIED] used the data chip available to us to gain access to another, previously hidden locking mechanism, presumably designed to access the device. It outputted valuable information on its function. However, the security system detected a discrepancy. Before we could act, it self-destructed. Severe damage was sustained to the station.
  
  Analysis of the data, however, has revealed three conclusions. The first is that the device is not designed to study anomalies. It's true purpose is likely [CLASSIFIED]. This and other similar devices has been in close proximity to various, important government leaders, including [CLASSIFIED], [CLASSIFIED], and Hierarch Fenway. This may present a Class ZK Restructuring Risk. Further research is required to see if this is correct.
  
  The second conclusion is that, based on the first conclusion, that the EE [CLASSIFIED], in order to [CLASSIFIED]. If this is correct, then something much larger than we know of is going on. Further investigation and research is required to validate this.
  
  The third conclusion is that the EE is [CLASSIFIED]. [CLASSIFIED] has been detected in this device, which is unusual for an EE device. Evidence points to [CLASSIFIED], because the technology present is inferior compared to what we know of the original devices. This remains to be seen.
  
  Something is not right with this. As such, more research and time must be devoted to find the answer.

Fenway blinked at it. He realized that this was meant for lower level officials, not him, but it was still sent to him. He would receive the uncensored version much later. Even if vital information was withheld, conclusions could still be made. It mentioned a ZK Restructuring Event. It is one of the highest levels of fatal scenarios.

And that meant trouble. Fenway postponed the inspection and shutdown of the lab indefinitely and decided to visit it himself.

OOC: I guess I'll roll first. So, if you didn't know, I am CatsVsNinjas. As you know I have been running around as Princess Luna; she is the princess of the night in Equestria blah blah blah. Anyhow the point is, if Tiel can have a relationship with Celestia. I should be able to have a long and deep friendship with Luna. So she will be doing announcements and such. I know I've said enough but I have one more thing. There will be four different types of posts, ones from president CatsVsNinjas, ones from Princess Luna, ones from the Cavnin to galactic news feed, and others such as dioluge between important characters and military/research reports. The Cavnin military has recently been investing in Strategic ships for purposes yet unknown. It is reported that one of these ships is a carrier that opperates as a mobile star base, and can field close to 4000 pinnaces, fighters and drones. It is unclear why the military would be announcing such a potentially deadly weapon (hint hint, scare tactics).

Meanwhile a small enterprise known as Kobaria (will come up later on) has feilded a ship capable of living in the deep cold depths of space for as long as the crew is alive. This ship is said to be an excellent ship for those that like visiting other empires. Good for private trading, or if you just want to wander the galaxy.
