A humanoid, light purple colored species, the Andromedans average six foot eight and occupy the Andromeda Galaxy. Human's first encounters with the Andromedans were hostile, but now trade is opening up and a few have chosen to live among the few human colonies in the Andromeda Galaxy- such as the first Andromeda colony- Phalanx.

This means: the andromedans can easily harvest the entire energy potential of a star and are well on their way to doing so to their entire Galaxy.
