The UAC has appointed a new Secretary of state, Gerard Duflot. All ships mobilized. 1st armada reports rebel andromedan flagship destroyed in fleet action. Other rebel ships remain, however.

ELSEWHERE: The UACS Gladius' captain ordered a full sensor sweep of the explosion site. A strigiforme weapon. Who knows, it could be more terrorists, but the captain was very suspicious of all strigiforme, now.

How about the official version is "any stealth can be detected", but in fact your government doesn´t know if it works on Darkstar stealth?

The same could be said about lightspeed's audacious claim that his ships would destroy anything attacking Cat's freighters, as opposed to simply saying they'd try. 4th degree godmodding (that is, not serious, but I should definitely be able to make a counter-claim. Manipulating someone else's character like Proto did with Luna would be 1st degree, but idk if he had permission)

That is by far the most overpowered specialization I've ever heard of, then. If his ships can go dark and no one can detect them, period, then all my ships carry Death Star superlasers.

The PHANTOM task group captured foreign agents trying to dissuade and spread anti-darkstar propaganda,trying to create a revolt.

A great share of resources is going to the creation of in-system naval outposts. THis will help to police and defend the Darkstar Co.Systems.

The investments in civilian technology [Medical and construction] is helping with the development of "third world planets",mostly the rural ones.

The creation of the S.T.R.I.K.E. (Special Tactical Response for Intergalactic Key Emergencies) is finished,now taking care of war planning and war assets management.

I also question your decision to suddenly do this right after I sent a private communique to Cavnin. No sane nation spontaneously deploys task forces to defend another's fleets in the Cold War-esque state the galaxy is in right now without due process, anyhow, of which you've noted none. Perhaps if you said something about spies I wouldn't have cause to whine, but seriously, right now I'm convinced you allocate your forces based on fortune tellings from Space Gypsies.

Saxon was very tired. He also had a crisis on his hands, so that made it worse. The Chancellor had just called and told him to get his a** moving in mobilizing the 3rd Fleet. Oh, and initiate DEFCON 3 and LOCKOUT Protocol. The 5th Fleet was also to be mobilized after it was complete. Saxon sighed. It was bound to be a very long week.

Internal Affairs:
DEFCON 3 initiated.
LOCKOUT Protocol initiated. All ships entering Confederation Space or within 0.3 lightyears of it will be destroyed on sight. Exceptions are fully licensed Confederation ships (freighters, private vessels, etc.), Confederation military ships, and select allied ships, if permission is requested and given. All of these excepted ships will be triple searched. If contraband is found, summary arrests and possible executions will happen, no questions asked.

OOC: No, no stealth detecting ships. Darkstar's cloak only works well when far away from other objects, such as hundreds of kilometers, otherwise the gravitational effects of the dark-matter shell would greatly show, unlike other cloaking mechanisms. So their cloak is detected by gravitational effects, so in other words, when they are close to you. Otherwise invisible. That's how its balanced.

I also think the protecting thing isn't very rational, but outside my reach.
