The Aurora, the Hierarchy's super-dreadnought, has just completed repairs and upgrades and is being put back into service. Aurora was heavily damaged during the Imperium war, and since then it has spent it's time in drydock for repairs.
Holocene, NeoRome's main shipping provider, has announced that it's flagship Duravell has disappeared. The ship was last known to be travelling Space Lane 651, a highly dangerous route filled with debris and wrecks of ships. All sensor sweeps to locate it have failed, so the vessel is presumed to be either stolen or unpowered. If the Duravell has been destroyed as Holocene suspects, the wreck cannot be detected unless it enters the 10 km low orbit zone over Antioch. The NeoRoman sensor nets are almost useless in debris detection above this range, as the sheer volume of debris left by the war interferes with all detection capacity. Cleanup of these fields is progressing, but slowly due to financial trouble and the fact that all debris hazardous to the NeoRoman space stations or Antioch IV has already been removed.
The NeoRoman- Strigiforme wargames have concluded, and the Third Battle Fleet has returned to NeoRoman space. Gulhav repeatedly calls it a "smashing success".
Krtiil has, surprisingly, accepted the Strigiforme invitation, but not without reservations. Due to his status as a Strigiforme traitor, Krtiil will arrive at the meeting in the Firefly dreadnought, head of the First Defense fleet, and will wear an advanced powered armor-suit at all times. He is also accompanied by the Hierarch's Guard, an elite task group. The Hierarch's Guard is extremely well trained in all manners of combat and infiltration, and will accompany him to the meeting.

Re: Where we Left Off
The Commonwealth has transferred the hospital ship Pax Aurelia to Antioch, with a cloning facility and the requisite technicians aboard.
Radiation cleanup on Menya is proceeding fairly quickly.
-Encrypted Message to L. Jahgrin-
We'd like to offer the services of one of our Prowlers - the Starblade - on your Hierarch's trip to meet the Strigiforme. It would remain cloaked during the meeting, running only passive and comms-interception sensors, mainly actkng as an ELINT vessel. We would transfer all comms intercepts and sensor logs to you after the fact.

The paladin has approved of the AI having a speaker and microphone, and these objects have been provided. The AI's voice appears to be a terran female of approximately 17 years of age. The BFGs are undergoing improvements to move out of the experimental stage.

Re: Where we Left Off
With the increasing colonization of the Andromeda galaxy, more and more civilians are drawn to the temptation of exploring the galaxy. As an attempt to keep these adventurers from getting killed by traveling in normal, low-protection civilian ships, a line of adventure- and exploration ships, which will be available to the public, are being designed. These ships will also be used by governmental and military units.
Reparation of the Menyan infrastructure is proceeding slightly quicker than assumed.

Re: Where we Left Off
After a several year long communication blackout, NeoRome has finally reestablished communications with the Farable colonies in an extremely distant galaxy known as NGC 1300. Communications were lost shortly before the Imperium war as the long-range facilities necessary for communication were destroyed. The Farable colonies have progressed extremely well and now occupy 7 systems. Strangely, no intelligent life of any kind has been seen by the Farable colonies.
The Farable colonies announced that they have constructed a stable quantum jump-gate around a black hole, and have sent the schematics to us. The scientists at the Antioch Research Institute is, for lack of a better term, are beating themselves up over missing such a simple concept that could have kept the TRANS-FAR gate intact. Hierarch Krtiil has authorized the construction of a quantum jump-gate around the JK-0098 black hole 40 parsecs from Antioch, which is expected to link the two colonies together.
-Message to: Admiral Meinholl from: L. Jahgrin-
I believe that it would be beneficial for your ship to be at the meeting site, so go ahead. But keep in mind that if you get caught, NeoRome will deny all involvement for security reasons.

Wargames are progressing very well.

On Deep Space 1, the team of Project Blackstar were ready for another mission. Tellaeya was still slightly worried about the two Operatives who hadn't been incinerated properly.

The AI has completed it's vessel, and has sent it to space. The vessel appears to be solely for mining purposes, though it does have a high-gain antenna, and a 30 megapixel camera aboard in addition to mining equipment. The ship is using Solari IFF frequencies. This information is not available to the TFA.

Re: Where we Left Off
False information about the AI has been leaked to the Novan Commonwealth, and different info to Zuguth. The information leaked to zuguth is that the AI has formed an emotional bond to a researcher, and NC's is that the AI has created a weapon.

The superadvanced AI developed by TechTron Industries after the design and plans of the Solari AI has been finished. The AI combines Jade's creativity and imagination with already advanced Zuguthian AIs, and testing to see what it can do has begun.

Re: Where we Left Off
"Good luck men."
"We'll have the thing's innards within the hour, just you wait, sir!"
"That's the spirit, now get down there."
The shuttle undocked from the station which now seemed tiny in comparison to the sensor-shielded mega ship extensively hooked to it. Out the window below was the very barren, arid planet, except in various locations the terraformer they'd been working on was tested. In the back was a sizable cargo container housing a fusion generator from the now defunct Valeyrian Homicide.
Coming in for landing, they leaped out, the container dropping as well. The shuttle sped off, it would return for them soon. The lesser-ranking scientist opened the container's door.
"So, what do you make of it?"
"What do I make of it? It's one of the most advanced things I've ever seen, hell, I don't know how the thing even works."
"None of us do, that's why we're here."
"I suppose you're right. Let's get to it then."
The pilot set the perigrene to cruise as he looked out the large canopy back at the drop zone. The generator twinkled on the surface now several thousand kilometers away. The station would come into view of it in a few minutes, just in time for the massive explosion. Hurriedly, he began shouting into the comms. The recovery team that would be sent would find only a crater.

Re: Where we Left Off
PHR/X Phoenix cannon tests have begin over Aerila. Initial results are quite promising; power cost is slightly higher than expected, but the beam is more powerful than predicted.
Valereia has been reassigned to Long Reach.
The two under-construction battlecarriers have been named; Artemis and Cassiopeia.
