Ivan, there would be no images of the atmosphere being blown away or anything, just a planet and then an expanding sphere of plasma and fusion where it was. It's not a beam, just a device for the near instant transport of large quantities of active stellar fusion from the heart of a massive star.

Strigiforme ships have met the Hexaguthian forces, being rebuked at a world by their fleet. While the Strigiforme fleet in question was turned back, it inflicted some casualties on the HG fleet by surrounding ships in Super Shields and crushing them. The Strigiforme advance has been temporarily stalled, with additional SDI fleets en-route.

The Hexaguthian attacks on the Ringworld, all being described extremely vaguely, have objectively failed due to the high levels of defences in system. The ministration shots were pulled out of (insert transport method here) by the Strigiforme (travel method here) disrupters surrounding the system, and were promptly picked off by the thousands of flak stations in system. The MR super weapons, being psionic(?), pinged off the 13 unit super shield with little effect.

Receiving no response, the NR force in WLM has begun constructing three Pillars of Victory to shut off the Invasion Gates. Fluctuations in inter-galactic FTL systems have begun increasing much faster. The jump gate to NGC 1300 has once again collapsed,[meta] but oddly enough, the three gates to WLM have not[/meta]. Fluctuations are quickly approaching a level to make intergalactic FTL travel unsafe or dangerous to all but the most advanced ships.

You talk of humanity with exclusivity, while there are Strigiforme, Tajer, Mobians, Taln, Feles, Laruthians, Equestrians, Aurelians, machines and more with which we share the universe. If you took the time to observe our worlds, you'd have seen a distinct scarcity of organic beings, instead finding there to be only machines. What The Renovation allows is the deletion of hostile thought processes and the mitigation of aggressive behaviour.

OOC: The MR people at Draco could very well leave - the takeover was planned, they had prepared themselves for leaving nad by the time the MR joining the HGE became public, they were already at the gate. Besides that, they were accompanied by hundreds if not thousands of drone destroyers, keping them form doing through would have been very hard for the local forces and I assume the MR still knew the access codes of that time.
On the part of the MR-HGE-transition... I kick the blame ball back to Vinyl, as far as I know, there is currently a process commencing that turns everything MR into HGE. Really, I was never informed that transfering from the MR to the HGE was voluntary at this point.
Also, ACH, the MR is using energy-based superweapons. Your defenses are effectively useless against those, and it has already been established that a shot of my planet buster can make the primary generators of your supershield fail. Fireing the moonbuster almost simultaniously at the same point would objectively break even your supershield and at the very least cause demage to the Ringworld in a degree that it can not fire without destroying itself. Not to mention that large surfaces of the shield would be exposed.

The MR titan was finally finished and started up its engines, both psionic and conventional, leaving the drydock.

Shortly after, news stations across the galaxy begin reporting that in the ceremony where the last military assets of the MR were going to be transfered to the HGE, HGE forces have begun fireing upon the Bunkership for "conspiration agains tthe empire" by the MIN, which has their headquarters in said ship. The new MR titan, trying to defend the bunkership, was destroyed alongside it and a number of other ships, which according to some sources were MR Halberd-destroyers modified with Laruthian drone tech.
[meta]In reality, this information is faked, it serves to cover up the disappearence of the ships supposedly destroyed, which, using Hexaguthian wormhole tech, have left the Milky Way for the IC-10 galaxy, settleing there with the former residents of the Draco colonies. The goal of this operation was to keep the departure - and the IC-10 settlements - secret in fear of the Strigiforme (due to a high number of Equestrians there - which were secretly cloned in Draco) should the Hexaguthian invasion of the milky way fail.
Because of recent intergalactic FTL fluctations, the jump is being made in "small" steps, travelling about 500 thousand lightyears per jump, making the distance within 4 jumps, to increase savety.

Some time later, the small fleet consisting of the Bunkership, the MR Titan and a number of droneships repurposed as passenger transports arrived in IC-10 and began searching for a suitable planet to colonize.[/meta]

Sure, if it were just one or two shield generators. This is 13 Class 3 Super Shield generators. Class 3 is the highest quality generator the Strigiforme have available, and each additional one increases the power greatly. As such, while the shield was weakened, it wasn't brought down, because the entire point of super shields is as a hard counter to planet busters.
