Urist responded "If you need to find this Roa immediately I could just have the bay do a full scan over the whole bay, All cargo bays here are high security cargo ports so everything but diplomatic ships are scanned"

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
The fleet sunk into position over the Dreadnought ARK (classification of D-ARK according to ARK-1s databases), landing parties were being prepared, and scout ships began scanning ths surface, searching for entry points for the Devil missiles. Omega suspected the devils would not be effective, something this size easily had to power to defend itself from sunspace attacks, it could even cause the devils to backfire straight out at ARK-1 if they weren't careful.
Omega couldn't establish a cyberspace link into the Dreadnougnt ARKs systems directly, but he could see it's basic structure. This thing looked powerful enough to force matter into existence, not through the usual psionic manipulation, but by creating an entity in cyberspace and dragging it into the real world by sheer force of will. Omega suspected that this process was how th original Lamentor units had been manufactured, it explained both thir apparent invulnerability and their lack of control.
But then again, they had one major ace when it came to dealing with the PRIME, it looked like the station had been dormant for a long time, chances are this was the first time it had encountered other sentient species, and with luck, the PRIME hadn't been activated for very long in the past. What this meant was although the PRIME was immensely powerful, it was also somewhat childlike. PRIME-1 had been formidable as it had dealt with other sentient life forms, even creating it's own and overseeing their development. This meant PRIME-1 had possessed a rather formidable imagination, Alpha had even described PRIME-1 as being able to attack in ways you could never think possible.
Omega could stand a chance, he could counter the PRIME's power by drawing upon his connection to ARK-1, and he might be able to circumvent it's defences by attacking them in ways they were never meant to defend against. But if he were to slip, this PRIME held enough power to delete him entirely. The consequences of this were grave, it would eliminate the NSCD entirely, and could result in ARK-1 being controlled by this dreadnought ARK.
They would have to disable a significant portion of the PRIME's power source if Omega could hope to delete it from cyberspace, otherwise the risk was simply too great. With luck the devils could cripple the power systems, but if they failed a full assault would be necessary.

I asked the NGSC whatever's for help. Proto hasn't responded. Ima probably ask you since Darkstar is on med leave, Orion is like always afk, and MR is trying to heal tanks with priests again.ACH0225 wrote:I like how the UGC hasn't asked for any assistance with Draco.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
OOC: Prototype, D-ARK is 5 AU in diameter. PRIME-0 ran it.
Jahgrin dashed forward, hand held out, slamming the massive Lamentor through bulkhead after bulkhead. 16 now, and still it fought. He slid to a stop and psionically smashed it into a final door, denting it. The Lamentor slumped momentarily before getting up, roaring. Jahgrin unsheathed a psionic energy sword from his wrist, half a meter long, and charged at the Lamentor. It raised its left arm, cycled to a menacing-looking barrel, and discharged a beam of hot green plasma, incinerating everything in its wake. Jahgrin slid under the beam and under the Lamentor. He jumped on its back and raised the sword. The Lamentor howled and reached for him, and Jahgrin plunged the sword into its head. It detonated, and Jahgrin jumped off, leaving the massive hulk to crash against the floor.
He was the last. His entire team was dead. Everyone else was tied up far behind him. He turned to the door and raised his hand towards it. He made a motion, as if throwing something to the side, and the door crumpled, revealing the massive chamber beyond. The central AI cylinder stood in the center, aligned against the ARK's north and south poles, covered in crimson red light bands. Power arced from it to the surrounding chamber. He stepped through.
"I've been expecting you, Jahgrin," The PRIME unit said, in a deep and menacing tone.
"How do you know my name?" Jahgrin asked, slightly angry.
"I know EVERYTHING!" The chamber shook with his voice. "I have accomplished everything, and I shall triumph."
"You're wrong. D-ARK is inactive. Your fleet is crushed. You failed."
"Have I? You do not understand, mortal." Almost mocking. With a side of insanity. Most PRIME units were neither.
"It doesn't matter." Jahgrin began walking towards the cylinder, adjusting his footing as the gravity shifted. His sword trailed from his wrist. "You're finished."
"It has only just begun. I have returned to take my rightful place over my empire."
"Some empire," Jahgrin said. He mounted the chamber and raised the sword.
"You look but you do not see!" Jahgrin looked at the chambers, in a bit more detail, and almost stumbled. The chamber was almost entirely covered in crystal formations. Deep purple formations, jagged and angular. Light bent around them, giving them a sinister black glow. Reality bending. Space-time rifts. Jahgrin plunged the sword into the cylinder. The crimson light bands shut off and detonated, throwing Jahgrin back to the entrance as the core destroyed itself. The north half of the core severed from it's mount and flung itself against the chamber wall, detonating and sending purple shards everywhere. The south half sparked and arced with electricity, secondary explosions going off until it too went silent. Jahgrin picked himself up, sheathed the sword, and picked up one of the crystals.
"Impossible." He reached for his communicator but was interrupted with an ear-splitting broadcast.
"I have returned, to claim what is rightfully mine. I am the harbinger. KNEEL BEFORE ME!"
D-ARK began lighting up across its entire massive surface, deep crimson lights and bands all over. The entire thing began to rumble. Large structures began to protrude from its surface as it started up. With a jolt, the 8 quarters of the massive sphere began to move apart, connected through a vast network of pylons and structures. As the quarters protruded, the interior of D-ARK was revealed.
A massive, writhing, pulsing mass within. Concealed, partially, by the chaotic nebula surrounding the space around it.

OOC: I am detecting high levels of Jedi fanisms from Fenway.
Project Miner is complete, revealing a massive mining and processing system layout for the Titan. The mining array is currently being attached to a mobile platform for emergency use.
--------
Project Leap has finished its main goal however recent events have resulted in an additional goal to research.
--------
Excessive resource supply and multiple design cuts has allowed 50% counstruction of the new gate (Think of this as the bare minimum for a functional gate, like army engineer corps bridges during ww2, practical but not ideal for the long run).
--------
[Draco fight]
The fight countinued on heavily in favor of the Tajer, The sheer size of the enemy forces costing them over 500 cruisers and 130 battleships from mass rushes and flanking attacks. The missile barrage continued unending in its assault against the opposing fleets. In the enemy formations tiny bright flashes could be seen where fighters weaved about enemy ships targeting weapons and assaulting engines with fusion and antimatter torpedoes in an attempt to stalk the enemy force all while dodging ARK fighter squadrons. The enemy fleet had taken a much large toll with an estimated 3500+ confirmed takeouts but even with a winning streak the ships wear wearing from combat fatigue, the cargo ships could only hold so many missiles for the barrage and crew were tiring from the fight. *calvary bugle horn call* The amassed Darkstar fleet of 8000 warped in, it's original charge gone leaving it free to assist in the fight. The superior numbers and readiness of the new fleet surrounded the weakend ARK fleet and decimated it under an intense barrage, Tajer ships no longer needing to defend from flanking moved forward and joined the fight crushing the ARk fleet in a five sided box. The ARK felt now laying in ruins set the nex battle scene as the total fleets merged up facing the next opponents: The five ominous ARK stations in the distance like vultures waiting for its prey to die.
-----
OOC: Darkstar fleet spam for the win.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
Gajerin had already cut up large portions of the fleets, and was tanking the damage too. A few ships had been lost, but most were frigates or smaller. Being a priority target for the enemy, Hexalani ships had to worry a bit less about defending themselves and more about covering the joint ships. What happened next was suspected by none of them, as more ships entered the fray, ships ranging from large fighters to small cruisers, models from various empires, all bearing an orange H followed by a number of another color. A few of them left no trace other than the jump, others brought fearsome weapons to bear. While this happened, there was another barrage from the firing stations over in Zuguth as well as a couple in the Expanses. Recently there had been a resurgence of activity in the territory, with the rebuilding process going along very much smoothly.
The largest of the ships bore the title H19 Arrested falcon of the dawn, and was a quite odd cruiser. Speckled along the fore were various dark spots, which quickly began to glow to a deep violet, and then fired off a succession of bursts of barely-visible HV (hyperviolet) lasers, and then grew dark once more. It was the only ship that mounted the HV lasers, and was the only one that could. The projectors required a specific input, an input incompatible with all other systems and required a dedicated power array of a size greater than that of most dreadnoughts, making it impractical to mount on most ships. The near-black beams cut across the yet darker background of space, and sped into the ARK ships. Their shields seemed to hold, before the few ships spewed flame and sparks as their systems overloaded. While for many this was not fatal, it left them much more susceptible to the fire of others.
((Section 3 SpecWar Fleet A FTW)) ((Note: there are only 3 SpecWar fleets, and this is the most heavily armed of them.))

"All S-O ships, this is the commander. D-ARK is active. I repeat, D-ARK is active. Hold positions and begin delay ops."
The man switched down and flipped a switch.
"Fleet, this is the commander. All non-S-O ships; repeat, any Milky Way government ships; are to retreat via the warp gate immediately. We will attempt a final containment solution. Should this fail, we need you to destroy the gate from your end and be ready to fight the D-ARK force. We'll give you as much time as is possible. Go."
The ground forces on the third ARK are being extracted; only the S-O (Delta-Aquila) teams are remaining.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
the MR fleet is retreating through the gate, with the fast Typhoons and smaller craft being the first to go through, while those ships who carried organic troops are lagging behind as they are picking up the leftover troops.

The Strigiforme have moved the anomalous jump gate to the Ringworld system in preparations to fire it out of the galaxy.
Strigiforme ship production has continued, with many of the ships being moved to the core systems due to the risk of hostile invasion by forces gathered by the enemy.
The Stauros remains fully charged and ready to fire.

OOC, ACH, if you mean the ARK jumpgate, there's still a Hexalani fleet fighting ARK ships there, so unless you blithely ignored getting shot up by robots, no, you didn't nab the gate.

No, the Strig dug up an anomalous jump gate that led to a containment thing full of Virus. They couldn't open it, and don't know what's in it, but are planning on shooting it off into deep space to get rid of it.
