Starbase Gatekeeper is done. The Wolfguard command and ships are being stationed at the brand-new base,setting up the defenses and the crew is "settling" on the station.

The shipyards stationed at the "Charon" system [Homebase of the Draco Gate] are producing ships . Not a rushed production ,just frigates and escort carriers to add up to the "stock" fleet of the base Wolfguard.

The ZE have begun introducing genetically modified plantlife to several planets in the galaxy. Mining has begun on several planets and asteroids in these systems.

I cannot into elegant prose today, but I wanted to get this out of the way before I neglect it further,
Mini ARK shoots remaining two shots, after impact of the third, fleets jump in, only some escorts and a cruiser remain of Fleet 14, the others are... functional. Attack begins, Ardoc leading from the Mini ARK, until the power fails. Unable to sustain its orbit, the station begins an unstoppable descent into Primaris. The entire southern hemisphere is affected by the crash, will need months of cleanup and repairs to be even think of returning to operation.

Mkay, here goes

The first shot hit the shields, and had there been an atmosphere to hear with, it would have made an amusing noise. The shield remained up, but two of the generators were near critical failure. The second shot impacted the severely weakened shields, causing massive failure on the two damaged generators, and killing a third. The 4th generator, damaged, remained up. The third shot hit the shield, breaking it and detonating a distance from the Stauros, causing some external damage to the aft starboard. The protective fleet, which had been patrolling the system, began moving towards the Stauros. The Hexalani ships arrive, with a Strigiforme fleet surprised by them. The mainline combat ships begin their attack runs while the shield ships and resupply ships move towards the Stauros, and send a warning out of system to all the heavily fortified worlds around them, and to the Stauros. On the Stauros, the hundred fighters and bombers fly out from their hangars to begin attacks. The defensive guns on the Stauros activate, and the missile tubes open, a few firing long range missiles. Meanwhile, the radiation from the Stauros' shield diffuses around it, creating a hazardous zone for quantum computers. The Stauros' core begins the firing sequence.

"All guns, ignore the ships, focus on Stauros. I don't want to waste our oppurtunity!" As Ardoc's message made its way to the fleets, the power in the command center shut off, and the viewing port soon became engulfed in flames.
OOC: ACH, you've got 100+ MACs, amongst other weapons, all firing on Stauros.

The Stauros is a planet sized object with multi-kilometer thick armour. It can take it. Additionally, they have Yttrium missiles. They are usually used against ships, as they move up to 50% of the target atoms to thousands of different dimensions, but can also be used in suitably dire situations as flak.
