Make a clean minecraft, version 1.6.4, install forge for 1.6.4 version ending with .965
Copy/paste the files in this mod pack across to your .minecraft
Go into the mods folder you just copied, and delete idfixminus.


Ok everyone, this is the server I've been on about, checking it out mainly because it uses a similar setup to what I would personally like to see on our own server.

I've made allies, and while the factions plugin isn't currently working, we have a contemporary faction.

Get on, now.


Also, there is a glitch that fixes the mechs, I haven't worked out exactly what, but I've seen it, and done it. Once I know what it is crushing our enemies with giant doom mechs it totally possible. This is what we've been waiting for.

That's idfix fucking stuff up, remove it. Took me four days to work that one out.

I saw you tried to get on earlier.

I'm not on now, but BP800, Yoko, Gin-something (guy with the arctic prawn mech), and Apollo are all good, just say I sent you. Leite is an asshole, destroy him.


Also, FC guns are currently banned, due to the recipes being too easy, I just sent the owner some beefed up recipes, to there may be a mod pack change coming.

As for mechs not turning, I think I've found what causes the problem, I'll try removing it and recompiling, it might work with the server but I'm not sure. Assuming it works at all.

Go into %appdata%/.minecraft/mods. Select idfixminus.jar, and delete it.

Also, if anyone's interested, I've done my own recompile of Flan's mod that fixes the mechs turning, and appears to work with the server.

Seems like there's an ID conflict between fuel and super hydraulics, meaning at the moment you can skip the most expensive part of crafting Fafnir.

I've already got us an Omega, a Leviathan, and this cool laser designator thingy that calls air strikes.

EDIT. Got it working. Also, Proto got us a Fafnir and is working on weapons. We've got FC weapons for those who want, and a decent little hole in the ground to work from.

My next task is hollowing out a grand area for our glorious Futurecraft capital, and then making it look purdy.
